The village is situated at the foot of Madara Rocks. The Madara Rider or Madara Horseman is a monument dated to about 710 AD and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979. It is chosen to be the Bulgarian symbol and one could see a small copy of it on the back side of each Bulgarian coin.

The land is an agricultural field attached to a road, and there is a highway near the field. Houses are close by therefore, water and electricity are easily available. The field could be turned into Building Blocks within 8 months according to the Bulgarian Law.

The famous project Madara Golf which is located 500 meters away from the field is now in progress.
